Over 4 years experience as an adjunct faculty member with Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University teaching under-graduate and graduate level courses in Maintenance Management, Procurement, and Logistics. Co-inventor of two patents including a process patent (pending) in demand tracking using RFID and real-time reporting.

Selected to lead the start-up of JAFA Technologies, Inc., a Corporation owned and operated by a management team that has demonstrated success working together in the field of systems integration and transaction processing with specific success in the application of Radio Frequency technology. Primary focus is to apply expertise in the Automated Toll Collection industry, which involves point of service transaction processing, financial transaction processing, database management, customer service center support, and violation processing center support. JAFA also offers technical consulting services in the areas of expertise of the founding members; i.e., data capture, transaction processing, software development, computer systems design, project management, and operations. Expanded and diversified the business by bringing in product lines through Joint Venture and Dealer Agreements.

The projects successfully integrated manual, automated, and electronic toll collection solutions into new and existing systems while maintaining a positive cash flow. Specifically responsible for development and adherence to project and contract goals/objectives, staff duties, project control budgets, subcontractor management, schedule management, technology development and integration, civil/construction and electrical project aspects. Directed the complete and efficient use of estimators, engineers, and other resources used in preparing risk and cost estimates for ITS sales opportunities. Worked directly with sales, engineering, and customers to define and analyze RFP requirements, perform site visits, attend pre-bid meetings, review performance and functional specifications, project schedules, and perform executive management bid cost and risk assessments. Upon contract award, directed preparation and control of hand-off meetings to communicate proposal design, strategy, schedule, priced scope, and other project aspects to the project management groups. Responsibilities included development of proposal sections related to specification adherence and the use and delivery of maintenance and training for customer requirements.

United States Air Force Program Management-Research and Development
1968 - 1993
Program Manager for the development and acquisition of aspects of the Strategic Air Command’s (SAC) largest and highest priority systems and equipment. Responsible for program management from initial concept formulation through source selection, development, certification, and deployment. Conducted sensitivity analyses to determine quality and performance requirements adherence for equipment under consideration. Performed research, analysis, and management tasks resulting in formal accreditation for program operational savings ranging from $33 million to $140 million. Recognized as SAC's expert on several programs/systems. Appointed as SAC program spokesperson and tasked as representative on Air Force and Department of Defense-level study groups. Responsible for concurrent management of programs worth in excess of $500 million. Researched and wrote plans, test programs, staff papers, analyses, and justifications affecting tests and acquisitions.
